Joseph G. Kuzia, age 98, of Wyandotte, Michigan, passed away peacefully at home under Hospice care. Born to the late Teophil and Helen Kuzia, Joseph lived a full and vibrant life. He married Margaret C. Bardoni on January 16, 1954, and together they raised three children: Debra (Gerald) Atkinson, Cynthia (Joseph) Dunn, and Greg (Michelle) Kuzia.
Joseph was a proud grandfather to Heather (Bill), Jeremy (Jamie), Madison (Dr. Connor), Jillian, Eric (Nicole), and Katie (James). His legacy continued through his great-grandchildren: Jacob, Tyler, Shelby (Damon), Rocket, Poppy, Veronica, Ella, Hanna, and Joseph, and his great-great-grandchildren, Addison and Ava.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Margaret, his parents, two sisters, Helen and Genevieve, and three brothers, Henry, Stanley, and Chester. Joseph is survived by many nieces and nephews, and he cherished the time spent with his family and friends.
Joseph had a special place in his heart for Joe's Hamburgers and his favorite fish at Sabina's Restaurant. Lastly his buddies who made it possible to chase the dream and a purpose to get up and get moving. Dennis, George and Joe, and his very best friend and grandson, whom he affectionately called J Bird.
Joseph's life was marked by love, dedication, and a zest for life. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. To plant a beautiful memorial tree in memory of Joseph Kuzia, please visit our Tree Store.
