Joseph A. Lacasse, Jr.

Joseph A. Lacasse, Jr., 80, of Canton, ME, passed away on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at the Pinnacle Health & Rehabilitation Center in Canton after many years of failing health. Joe was born in Portland, ME on October 9, 1944 the son of the late Joseph A. Sr. and Margaret (Smith) Lacasse. He graduated St. Patrick's School in 1963 and enlisted in the United States Navy and was Honorably discharged. He was a member of the VFW in Gray, Maine, was an avid reader and enjoyed doing crossword puzzles.

He is survived by his siblings: Norman Lacasse and wife Lucille of Gorham, Gerard Lacasse and companion Patty Berube of Berlin, Andrew Lacasse and wife Donna of Gorham, Raymond Lacasse and wife Margaret of Berlin, Theresa Leclerc and husband Paul of Berlin, Frances Lemelin and husband Bob of Gorham, Mary Skaradosky and husband Robert of Berlin, Cathy Francoeur and husband Peter of Saco, ME and Christine Heath and husband Russell of Bedford, NH; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Services will be private. Joseph will be interred beside his parents at the St. Kieran Cemetery, Berlin. Arrangements are entrusted to the Bryant Funeral Homes & Crematory, Berlin and Gorham, NH. Memories and condolences may be expressed online at www.bryantfuneralhome.net.
