Joseph Lambert Obituary
Mr. Lambert was born in Fort Wayne, IN to his late parents James Vernon Lambert and Nell Cox Lambert. He worked as a welder for most of his life and was of the church of Christ faith. Mr. Lambert was a proud United States Marine veteran and enjoyed doing Civil War reenactments, of which he was a member of the 7th Tennessee Company D. In his free time, he enjoyed welding, farming, and tinkering around with farm equipment. In his younger years, he enjoyed racing offroad Jeeps.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Susan Lambert; and grandson, Devin McChessney.
Mr. Lambert is survived by a son, Joseph A. Lambert (Tammy); brothers, Larry Lambert (Linda) and Russell Lambert (Linda); sisters, Ann Taber and Delilah Sandefur (Fred); granddaughter, Heather McChessney.
Visitation will be held Monday, December 15, 2025 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at Central Funeral Home in Manchester, TN. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at 1:00pm in the chapel of Central Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Prairie Plains Church of Christ Cemetery in Hillsboro.
