Joseph Lindly Lenins

Joseph Lindly Lenins, 76 years of age, of Dickson, TN, passed away July 2, 2024, at Tristar Horizon.
He was known to most as Doc. Would always have a story share. Rather it was about growing up with his Italian parents from Italy, his dad fighting in the War of Italy and his purple heart, his mom teaching him homemade Italian goodies when he was a child. Or when he played football or was wrestling in his younger years.
Doc was a man of many ventures that took him from being a CEO, to owning his own night club on the beach, to volunteering many years in the Red Cross which was his pure joy. He made many friends volunteering in disasters and made the best of the worst situations with a smile on his face.
Doc was a man of artist and lyrical talents; you could sometimes find him writing jingles or painting just to pass some time and relax his mind.
He would give you the shirt off his back, the last dollar in his wallet. He loved in so many ways, but one of the most significant qualities was giving that was his love language, he gave you comfort, compliments, and a smile.
The family will have a graveside service on Friday, July 12, 2024, at 11:00 am at The Lenin's family cemetery.
