Mary Elizabeth Poole.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, Mary Elizabeth Poole, who departed this life Sunday, September 28, 2025, at the age of 73. Surrounded by family, she left us peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and strength.

Ms. Poole was preceded in death by her parents; Catherine and Cecil Poole, her sisters; Judy Poole Stone, and Joyce Poole Walden, and her brother; Cecil Poole. She is survived by her daughters; Missy Poole Glasener, and Tina Silva (David) Briley, her sons; Donnie (Kimberly) Cook, and Mark (EJ) Silva, grandchildren; Zachary Glasener, Bailey Glasener, and Hailey (Tyler) Bise, great-grandchildren; Daxton Pryor, and Zailey Bise, honorary grandchildren; Danielle (Larry) Roberts, Blake (Lexie) Underwood, Sharilyn (Austin) Fones, Nathan Samuel, Shauncie (Shane) Shaw, honorary great-grandchildren; Julia Stephens, Mallori Roberts, Jaxson Roberts, Gavin Roberts, Rowan Underwood, and Wyatt and Emelia Shaw, stepchildren; Tyanna Walden, and Willie (Lindsay) Castello, step grandchildren; Lexie Walden, Ryan Walden, and Gage Castello, also surviving are her sisters; Kim (Doug Hoffarth) Underwood, Virginia Buckner, and Jackie (Ken) Cannon, and her brother Toney (Debby) Poole.

Born in Nashville, TN on September 15, 1952, Mary lived a life marked by resilience, joy, and unwavering devotion to her children. She was the proud mother of four children - two daughters and two sons - who were the center of her world and brought her immense pride and joy. Her love extended beyond them to embrace her three cherished grandchildren and two precious great-grandchildren.

Those who knew Mary will remember her quick wit, contagious laughter, and the way she could light up a room with her humor. She had an incredible gift for finding joy in everyday moments and was never afraid to speak her mind or share a joke. Her strength was unshakeable - a pillar her family leaned on through every storm.

She taught us how to be brave, how to laugh through tears, and how to stand tall no matter what life brings. Her legacy lives on in the love she gave so freely and the memories we hold dear.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3, 2025 from 10AM until Celebration of Life Service at 2 PM at Boyd Funeral Home in Ashland City, TN with family and friends to honor her life. The family asks that you share a memory, a story, or simply a laugh in her honor - just as she would have wanted.

Rest well, Mom. We miss you already! We'll carry your laughter in our hearts always.
