Sincere sympathy to your family. I have many fond memories of long ago, when Joe and his family were new to the U.S.A. "Molly Lillis , my grandmother, visited with Joe and especially his sisters at our home in West Haven. It always amazed me how much Joe and his brothers resembled my Dad, Thomas (Tim) Lillis. May the Good Lord Bless him and keep him. Sincerely, Mary Ellen Lillis Koalchic.

I am very sorry to hear of the passing of Joe may he rest in peace.
I met Joe back in the early 70s when I worked at the Postal Service on Brewery Street in New Haven. (1967-2009)
I was a group leader then and used to load and unload his truck. I remember one Sunday when he came in with his daughter. What a little cutie. I think her name was Elizabeth, I'll never forget the look on her face when I gave her a dollar to buy an ice cream.
Joe was such an easy-going guy, he will be missed by many. I have so many fond memories from back in the day.
So sorry for your loss.
PS: My sister Martha DePodesta knows your family very well. She lived in Hamden for a long time. She now lives in Florida. I will email her this obituary.
