Joseph "Joey" Lovera, Jr. of Coal City, IL formerly of Wilmington; age 54, suddenly. Cherished son of Diane (Mark) Green nee Haake and Joseph Sr. (the late Joan) Lovera. Beloved brother of Michael, Susie (Ed Pogliano) and Tim Lovera, Tony (Tracey) and Todd Green. Fond uncle of Eddie Pogliano (Estefany), Sam and Joey Pogliano, Zion and Jaeden Green, Jacob Coogan, Caleb, Ava and Haylee Green.
In his younger years, Joey enjoyed playing softball and throwing darts. He was a avid sports fan, and a hard worker who took pride in his labors. Joey possessed a great sense of humor. But more than anything, he had an enormous heart. He cherished his family and close friends.
A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
