I worked with Joe at the Royal Oak Police Department in the mid 80s. He was a mentor and a friend. Glad to see that he found happiness in a sunny place. Gone too soon.

I met Joe at the MSP academy. He was selected to work at the Flat Rock Post for his first assignment. We later worked on the same MSP Surveillance Team. Outside of work, Joe introduced me to my first mre (meals ready to eat) at Camp Grayling. JPM, father, brother, husband, friend, warrior, never will be forgotten. The entire Huggins Family sending our condolences to the Family. Ice
