June Madurski

June Rose Madurski age 79, of Erie, passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2025. She was born June 21, 1946 to Leo and Marguerite (Davis) Fetterolf of Edinboro, PA. She spent her childhood being doted on by her loving parents and older brother, Jack. She spent many hours in her father's general store and graduated from General McLane High School in 1964. June worked a number of jobs throughout her life all with a focus on serving others. Her most cherished position, though, was the time she spent at the Erie City Mission; the memories of which she carried throughout her life. June was a proud member of Des Colores and deeply valued the connections and lessons she took from her time in AlAnon. She had a love of plants and gardening even volunteering her time at her apartment complex to create beautiful landscaping for her fellow residents. Her beloved cats, Joanie and Chachi, brought her immense joy and companionship. Camping was an enriching part of her life that she shared with her grandchildren and a community of friends at Camp Sherwin. She also enjoyed playing bingo, crokinole, and visiting with her many friends at Niagara Village. June was preceded in death by her parents; her older brother, John "Jack" Fetterolf; and a beloved son, William "Uncle Buddy" Bewley. She is survived by three daughters, Christine Yurky of Indiana, PA, Shannon McAdoo (Jerry) of Erie, PA, and Kimberley Gollihugh (Dave) of Georgia; seven grandchildren, Matthew Yurky of Pittsburgh, PA, Elizabeth (Craig) Lewis of McKean, PA, Jennifer (Alex) Hileman of Athens, OH, Patrick Yurky of Washington, DC, Marcus (Kristen) Knapp of Girard, PA, Amanda Knapp of Girard, PA, and Catherine McAdoo of South Korea; and eight great-grandchildren, Avalyn, Preston, Addisyn, Kinleigh, Elliott, Winifred, Liam, and Reighn. Additionally, she is survived by a sister-in-law, Nobuko Fetterolf; and two nephews, Leo (Kimberly) and Edward (Lorraine) all of Alexandria, VA. Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 2607 Buffalo Rd., on Wednesday, August 20th, from 3 pm until the Funeral Service at 5:30 pm.
