He is survived by his daughter, Willow Joy Marino; parents, Linda (Randy) Davis-French, of North Bangor, and Scott Marino, of Ogdensburg; his siblings, Ashley (Alex) Marino-Ritchie, of Malone, Scott Thomas Marino, of Ogdensburg, and Dawson Wiegandt, of Ogdensburg; his maternal grandmother, Linda Pannhurst, of North Bangor; his aunts, Lisa Cummings, of Chateaugay; his uncles, Fred Pannhurst, of California, Frank (Amy) Pannhurst, of Malone, Chris (Heather) Pannhurst, of Malone; several cousins; and nieces and nephews, Brennan Wampler, Brayden Wampler, Lincoln Ritchie, William Ritchie, Katalaya Marino, and Kallum Marino. He is predeceased by his paternal grandmother, Joyce Baker and his maternal grandfather, Frederick Pannhurst.

Joseph was born on May 13, 1992, in Norwich, NY, the son of Scott Marino and Linda Davis-French. He attended local schools in Brushton and Salmon River. He worked as an automotive tech before working at Ansen Corporation in Ogdensburg. He later did carpentry work and worked as building maintenance for the Stone Fence Resort.

He enjoyed four-wheeling, snowmobiling, motor-biking, playing with his cousins, and tinkering with cars and small engines. Most importantly, he cherished his time spent with his daughter, Willow Joy. Christmas was his favorite holiday and would give the world to everyone if he could.
