He was born on August 12, 1942 to the late Joseph and Della Marinzel. He is survived by his wife, Dawn Marinzel and sons Joseph Marinzel Jr. and Robert (Alice) McIntyre. Grandfather of Shannon (Josh) Chatham and great-grandfather of Olivia Chatham. Brother of Jerome (Natalie) Marinzel. Uncle to Jerome Jr. (Dana), Andrew (Gina) Marinzel and many more loving nieces and nephews.
A mass will be held in celebration of Joe's life on Thursday, September 2, 2021 at 10:00 am at St. Matthew Parish at Holy Spirit Church, 608 Farragut St., Pittsburgh, 15209 (Millvale). In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, www.pancan.org.
