Born July 12, 1942 in Kansas City, Missouri, Mr. Sandman was the son of the late Joseph Myer Sandman and Ellen Victoria (Palm) Sandman. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 52 years: Sandra Elain Sandman.
Mark was a Veteran of the United States Army and retired from both the Kelly Springfield Tire and Rubber Company and Z&M Trucking. He was a member of the V.F.W. Post #9762, Kansas City. Mark loved cutting grass, working outside, and gardening and was an avid gun collector.
Mark is survived by his sons: Christopher Sandman, Bryant Sandman, Matt Sandman, and Travis Sandman; as well as his grandson: Alex Sandman; and his first cousins: Janet (Don) Jarabek, Diane (Bill) McCracken, OH; Karen (Joe) Fedderer, DE; Sue Ann (Steve) Pochron, John Paul Evans, Cindy (Mike) Mislow, Herb (Carla) Palm, Patti (Bob) Zeh, Janet (Ron) Vivian and Carol (Rich, deceased) Sabol, all of PA.
Per his request, he will be cremated and there will be no services.
