My sincerest condolences to Buddy Brent and family. I am so sorry to hear about Joey! I had the pleasure of working with him for a while during his tenure with the City of Mt. Juliet and was saddened to hear about his passing. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Our deepest sympathies to Buddy, Jo ann and the entire Brent family. I know you are all just heart broken over the loss of dear sweet Joey, I recall many fond memories of Joey as a child growing up at Grandview Circle. He, KJ, and Jake were big playmates. They would ride bikes all about Springmont area getting into all kinds of mischief as boys often do. I recall a time when they built a giant 12 ft tall snowman after a big snow storm. It was quite impressive and hard work for such little guys lol! Buddy and Jo Ann, our thoughts and prayers are with you in this time of healing. Me and Debi are currently in Savannah GA and unable to attend services. Fortunately our son KJ will be there to represent our family. Sincerely Bill and Debi Engels.. P.S. hopes we can get together sometime in the future.

I was privileged to work with Joey for a short time. His sacrifice and service to the country will not go unrecognized. But foremost, his love for his family was immeasurable. I will miss him.
