Joseph McCarty Obituary
Predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Judith McCarty. Survived by his son, Joseph W (Joey) and his mom Kimberly Sampson. Siblings Karen Passalacqua (Tony), Judie Kelly (Pete) Rich McCarty (Shannon) and nieces and nephews Laura, Allison, Veronica, Anthony, Vincent and step-son Michael Mazzola.
Joe grew up as a tinkerer and knew at a very early age that he wanted to be an electrician. He went to Camden County Vo-Tech and then did his apprenticeship with Local 98. He was a journeyman with 98 until his illness sidetracked him. Joe loved to mosey around the Berlin Mart and many flea markets on the week-ends with Joey. They enjoyed mart pretzels, cheesesteaks, going to the movies and car and monster truck shows. You could usually find him in him garage, labeling things or "prepping to endure".
A Memorial Visitation will be held on Monday, May 13th, 2024 from 11:00am to 1:00pm with a funeral service beginning at 1:00pm at Inglesby and Sons Funeral Home, 2426 Cove Road, Pennsauken, NJ 08109.
In Lieu of flowers, the family suggestions donations be made to The American Diabetes Association or the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation in memory of Joseph.
