Joseph Wayne McCarty

Joseph Wayne McCarty, 41, of (Kansas City, MO), passed away on October 14, 2025. Born on June 21, 1984, Joseph was a proud southern man known for his kind heart, sharp mind, and the good manners that reflected his deep Christian values.

Joseph was a devoted husband, father, brother, and son whose greatest joy in life was his family. He loved his children-Betty Nicole, Shelby, Ethan, and Alyssa-with all his heart, and they were his greatest pride and purpose.

Though life led him down some difficult roads, Joseph found the strength and faith to turn his life around. In his final years, he was walking a better path-becoming the man he was always meant to be: strong, loving, and full of grace.

He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Teresa McCarty. He leaves behind his loving wife, Kimberly McCarty; his children, Betty Nicole, Shelby, Ethan, and Alyssa McCarty; his father, Andrew McCarty; stepmother, Terri McCarty; brothers, Andrew McCarty and Joshua Gish; sister, Natasha McCarty; and brother-in-law, Terry Lee Merritt. He is also survived by 15 nieces and nephews, as well as 4 great-nieces and great-nephews, all of whom he loved dearly.

Joseph will be remembered for his southern charm, his laughter, his compassion, and the way he could light up a room with his presence. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
