Joseph Dale Morgan
1949-2025
Joseph Dale Morgan, affectionately known as Dale, age 75, of Catlettsburg, Ky, passed gently away on January 12, 2025.
Dale was born in the fall of 1949 on October 16th. He was the blessing of the late Ott Walter and Vivian Rice Morgan. He was a graduate of Man High School in Logan West Virgina. Dale served his country proudly in the United States Army. Dale's love for his family was unconditional and his number one priority in life was for them. He was born a natural salesman and opened his own insurance company known as The Morgan Group. Dale was a very intelligent man with a sharp wit, he had a quick comeback for everything. He raised his family to never give up on anything, "we don't quit in the Morgan house", became a family motto. He had a love for the oldies and even though his voice wasn't that of a songbird, he was never too proud to sing loudly in the car. He was a good man with a kind soul. He was loved by so many and will be missed by all who were blessed enough to have him in their lives.
Dale leaves behind his loving wife of 48 years, Kathy Campbell Morgan, two children Jamie Morgan of Catlettsburg, KY and Craig Morgan and his wife Kelli of Phoenix, AR, three grandchildren Madilyn Morgan, Merrick Morgan, and Maxwell Morgan, and a host of brother, sisters, extended family members and friends.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Uncle Dale was eight years older than me he was more like a brother to me. I have many memories of playing baseball with Uncle Dale. He was always light hearted and laughing. He will be missed by many people. I remember when Uncle Dale and Uncle Ronny were drafted during Vietnam I was a teenager and very worried about them both, so happy when they came home and proud of them it made me join the Marine Corps when I turned 18. I miss you Dale. Love Mickey
