Joseph C. Orsolini, age 59, of Gilberts, Illinois passed away on July 17th.
Joe was born in Chicago to Theresa and Robert Orsolini. He attended Prosser Vocational High School and graduated in 1983. After losing his father at the age of 19, Joe stepped up and started building the legacy he leaves behind.
In 1982, at the young age of 16, Joe met the love of his life, Joanna. How rare it is to meet your soulmate at such a young age. Anyone who knows them can see just how special their love is. Joe and Joanna have provided an incredible example of what a loving marriage should be like to their kids and all who knew them.
In 1990, they married in a small ceremony. Three years later they had their first child. From there, they welcomed two more beautiful children. Joe loved his children with all his heart and they loved him back equally. If you ask any of them, they will quickly tell you that he was the best dad one could ever have. If you ask them, they will tell you stories of his kindness, of his charisma, of his humor. Joe had mastered the art of the ‘dad joke’ and never failed to make everyone laugh. Joe loved to cook and never forgot to ‘give his compliments to the chef’ after one of his delicious meals. Known affectionately as a social butterfly, his family has always said he could make a friend anywhere he went.
It’s impossible to encompass all that was Joe Orsolini in a few simple paragraphs. If you had the immense privilege of knowing Joe, you know that there’s not a thing he couldn’t do. Nor was there ever a time when Joe wouldn’t drop everything to help someone out. Joe prided himself on his hard work and was so proud of the family business, or as he referred to it, his life’s work.
Joe is so loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He will forever be carried in the hearts of those who are left behind. His wife, Joanna; his children, Rachel (Tim), Joe, and Arianna; his mother Theresa; his father-in-law Vince; his siblings, Bob (Michelle) and Debbie (Gene); his lifelong best friend/basically brother, Anthony; his sister-in-law, Gina (Chris); his aunt Barb (Roger); and his many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Joe has been welcomed into heaven by his father, Robert Orsolini; his mother-in-law Rachel Elia; his paternal grandfather, Dante Orsolini; and his paternal grandmother, Mildred Orsolini.
Family and Friends will gather on Sunday, July 28, 2024, from 1:00pm to 5:00pm at Emmett’s Brewing Company in West Dundee to celebrate Joe’s life.
