Joseph Pantano Obituary

Mr. Pantano was born February 13, 1932 in Orsigliadi, Ricadi, Calabria, Italy, a son of the late Antonio and Brigida (Vizzone) Pantano.
As a child of a WWI US Army Veteran, Joseph and his family left their home in Italy to begin the life his father created for them here in the US. After 36 years as proprietor of The Leaning Tower of Pizza in East York, Joseph enjoyed his passions for family, friends, real estate development, gardening and winemaking. He never tired of working hard. He loved life and fought the good fight each day.
Joseph was predeceased by his parents and his brother Louis Pantano.
Joseph is survived by his wife; children Brigida Shertzer (husband Mike), Mary Pivirotto (husband Mark) & Anthony Pantano (wife Lisa); grandchildren Jaclynn Psitos (husband George), Joseph Anstine (wife Jennifer), Patrick Anstine (wife Tiffanie), Alyssa Pivirotto, Adam Pivirotto (fiancée Monica) , Daniel Pivirotto, Christopher Pantano & Gianna Pantano; great-grandchildren Olympia Psitos, Emmeleia Psitos and Harper Anstine
A viewing will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday at John W. Keffer Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc. 902 Mt. Rose Ave. A funeral rite will begin at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Church 251 E. Main Street, Dallastown, with Father Mark Weiss officiating. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens following the service.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Church 251 E. Main Street, Dallastown.
