Joseph E. Pecze

Joseph E. Pecze, Sr., age 91 formerly of Verona, passed away on Friday morning April 14 2023. He was the son of the late Catherine (Mikula) and John Pecze. Beloved husband of the late Betty Pecze. Loving father of Joanne (Mathew) Riberich, Karen Saucier, and Joseph (Jodi) Pecze, Jr. Brother of the late Irene Barnhart, late Stephen Pecze, and the late John Pecze. Grandfather of Danielle, Brittany, Shawn, and P.J. Great-grandfather of 8. Joe was a proud Korean war Army veteran, an avid Steelers fan, and enjoyed fishing and working on cars. Friends and relatives are invited to BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC. 421 Allegheny Ave. Oakmont, PA 15139 on Tuesday April 18 fro 9-11 a.m. where a service will be held at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery with military honors. The family extends heartfelt thanks and gratitude to the staff at Caring Hospice and Locust Grove who showed Joe love and compassion.
