With heavy hearts, we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved Joseph Pitkiewicz, who left us on January 13, 2025.
He was a cherished husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who knew him.
Born on February 24, 1968, in Queens, NY, Joseph was the son of Leeann and Stanley (Butch) Pitkiewicz. He grew up in Oceanside, NY and later moved to move to Palm City, FL where he raised his two children, Jessica and Joseph Jr., alongside his loving wife, Jill Pitkiewicz. Later, he made his home in Florida, where he found joy in his love for motorcycles and boating.
Joe's unwavering love and dedication to his family were the cornerstones of his life. He was an extraordinary father and grandfather who always put others first. His strength, wisdom, and guidance shaped his children's lives, and his grandchildren, Juliana and Michael Jr., were his greatest joy.
Joe is survived by his children, Jessica and Joey Jr., his grandchildren, Juliana and Michael Jr., and his sister, Dina Ryder, and her children, Olivia and Nicholas Taglieri. He was predeceased by his mother, Leeann, his father, Stanley, and his brother, Stanley Jr. "Buddy".
A visitation will take place on Sunday, January 19, 2025, from12 - 3 PM with a funeral service at 3 pm at Forest Hills Funeral Home, located at 2001 SW Murphy Rd, Palm City, FL 34990.
Though he may no longer be with us, his love, laughter, loyalty, and the life lessons he imparted will remain in our hearts forever.
Rest in peace, Daddy. You will always be loved and missed.
