Joseph A. Prilliman

Joseph A Prilliman, 92, of Lamont, OK, died on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, in Stillwater, OK. Viewing will be from 12:00 pm, Monday, October 6, 2025, with a Funeral Ceremony beginning at 1:00 pm, at the Trout Funeral Home Chapel with Glenn Webster officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Lamont Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 505 Thunderbird Rd, Tonkawa, OK 74653.
Joseph was born on Monday, November 14, 1932, in Lamont, OK, to Henry Joseph and Myrtle (Martin) Prilliman. After graduating from high school, he received a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Arts from Oklahoma State University in 1960. He also served in the United States Army. He married Betty Lou Whitehead on April 4, 1953, in Lamont. She died on September 1, 2009. He was an Industrial Arts Teacher in Long Beach, CA, for 28 years. They returned to Lamont in 1988. He became a rancher and farmer.
Joseph is survived by: two sons, Jeff D. Prilliman of Breaux Bridge, La., and Frank L. Prilliman of Lamont, OK; one brother, Lewis A Prilliman; one sister, Iva Marie Gilbert; and two grandchildren, Matthew and Kelli. He was preceded in death by his wife, and one brother, Rex Prilliman.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Prilliman, Frank Prilliman, Matthew Prilliman, Randy Webster, Troy Whitehead, and Dale Whitehead. Honorary pallbearers will be Rick McMillen and Brad Whitehead.
