Joseph Leo Rehovsky

Joseph L Rehovsky, age 74, of Apple Valley, passed away peacefully on Holy Thursday, April 17, 2025.
Preceded in death by parents James and Mel; siblings Mary Ann (Mitch) Mitchell, James "Swede", Judy Rivinius, and John; niece Susan; and nephews Bobby, Bradly.
Joe is survived by his wife of 51 years, Arlou "Louie"; children Jessie, Jason, and Elizabeth (Alex) Buko; grandchildren, Ayden, Evan, Molly, Tatum, Alexander, and Alexis; sister-in-law, Shirley, Brother-in-law, Bill Bartholomay (Deb) and many other loving relatives and friends.
Joe was born February 27, 1951 in Oakes ND where he graduated high school in 1969. He started working in construction after high school. When his brother Swede passed, he returned home to help his Mother and Dad on the farm for a year. He then owned and operated the Fullerton ND bar. Joe decided that he wanted to fix airplanes for a living. He attended Aircraft School in Fargo, ND. With the support of his wife, he had his start as an Aircraft Mechanic in Elk City, OK, then Denison, IA, Grand Rapids, MN and finally settled in Apple Valley, MN where he worked for Republic Airlines, Nothwest Airlines, and retired from Delta. Joe loved to tell stories and jokes. His past time included hunting with his 2 sons, taking his wife and daughter across America, fishing at the Missouri River with his sister Judy, and in Mexico Beach with his sister Mary Ann and Mitch. After retirement he enjoyed his camp site in Mora, MN with his wife.
A Celebration of Life will take place 11:00 AM May 1, 2025, at White Funeral Home, 14560 Pennock Ave. Apple Valley, MN 55124, with a gathering of family and friends starting at 10:00 AM. Interment in Oakes, ND 2:00 PM June 21st at St. Charles Cemetery.
