Joseph Mitchell Reid

Joseph Mitchell Reid, age 16, of Woodstock passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at Children's Egleston Hospital.
Celebration of Life service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 24, 2022 at the Sosebee Memorial Chapel with Pastor Rick Harris officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.
Joseph lived life to its fullest in his brief 16 years, he was always happy, affectionate, and never met a stranger. He was a student at River Ridge High School, active in Miracle League Baseball and always enjoyed Camp Trach Me Away. Joseph was a huge Star Wars fan and Alabama "Roll Tide" fan. He enjoyed video gaming, board games, fishing, boating, watching old movies and most of all spending time with his family, especially his siblings.
He was preceded in death by his birth mother, Sherri Reid; uncles, Josh Mikulcik and Alan Powers. Joseph is survived by his parents, Nikki and John "Mitch" Reid; twin brother, Daniel Reid; sisters, Kinleigh Reid and Courtney Morgan (Paul); brother, Chuck Foor; grandparents, Dianna and Robert Mikulcik and John Reid; great-grandparents, Connie and Paul Mikulcik; aunt, Stephanie Lazzaro (Cory); great-uncle, Tim Amos (Joanne); great-aunt, Kim Powers; nephew, Lyle Morgan; as well as several great aunts, great uncles, cousins and many friends.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to his sibling's college fund in care of the family.
