Joseph John Reilly, 59, passed away in New Smyrna Beach, Florida, on November 14th, 2025.
Joseph was born on March 1, 1966, in Philadelphia, PA, to Ann G. Amandelora and John F. Reilly. The youngest of 6 children, he was a brother to John (Cornelia), Suzanne (Al), Ellen (Ed), Maureen (Bob) & Matthew. Joe graduated from Cardinal O’Hara High School and went on to earn a bachelor's degree in business from Drexel University. Joe was an account manager in the flexible packaging industry and worked for Polyplex USA for the last 12 years. An avid golfer, Joseph spent countless hours of fun with his friends, brother and nephews on the links as well as Phillies Spring training games. Joe spent many cherished summers in Ocean City, NJ where days were filled multiple with summer jobs, beach outings, basketball games, fishing and time with beloved family and friends. Like his mother, he would never miss a good Phillies or Eagles game.
Joe was a beloved father, grandfather, brother and dear friend. Becoming a father transformed him, bringing out a deep sense of devotion, protectiveness, and pride. He is survived by his daughter, Emily, and granddaughter, Rose, who were the light of his life; as well as his five siblings and many nieces and nephews. He will be dearly missed.
Joe lived a life of humility, thoughtfulness, and kindness. He would support those he loved without a second thought. His family and friends could always rely on his compassionate help to get through any situation. Joe’s presence brought laughter and warmth, whether through an unexpected phone call or a story shared just to make someone smile. Though his life was marked by both joy and loss, he leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and cherished memories.
For Joseph’s celebration of life, the family will have a funeral service at 11:00 am on January 6th, 2026, at St. Bernadette of Lourdes at 1035 Turner Ave, Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania, the parish in which he grew up. Prior to Mass there will be a visitation hour with the family at 10:00 am. After Mass, there will be a funeral procession for the burial of his remains at Calvary Cemetery located at 199 Matsonford Rd., West Conshohocken, PA, 19428.
