LIMA -- Joseph Michael Rekart, 91, of Lima passed away at 7:43 AM on Thursday, January 22, 2026 at his residence.

Joe was my uncle. He was always nice and had a positive outlook. He was a good brother to my dad. He led a good life, was a good worker, and a good person. I will miss him as an uncle and as a friend. I send my condolences to his fiance and his children. Also, sorry to Sharon. This world will miss him.
