Born on December 16, 1947, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Richard was a graduate of Albuquerque High School class of '65. He was a proud Navy veteran and served in the Vietnam war. Richard was an avid golfer whose love of the game started when he was a caddy as a young boy. He loved the outdoors and never failed to choose a scenic road trip over flying whenever he could.

He was an accomplished businessman and woodworker owning his own business most of his life. He enjoyed his weekly breakfasts with his best friend Joseph Griego (Frances) and the “Breakfast Club” made up of friendships that started in middle school and high school (Go Bulldogs!). He was known for his quick smile and wit.

He was loved and will be greatly missed.
