Joseph Riordan Obituary
He attended St. John's Grammar School, Our Lady of the Valley High School. He attended Essex County Community College for one year and then left to join the United States Navy. He worked on Aircraft Carriers and served for 12 years. He moved from New Jersey to Florida to be close to family and quickly made new friends in Florida, while keeping his childhood friends close throughout his life. He is a member of The Amvets and has many friends there.
Joe was an avid reader and was rarely seen without a book.
He loved the ocean, the beach and fishing.
He is preceded in death by his parents Anna and Bernard Riordan and his sister Maureen Makris.
He is survived by his sisters Kathleen, Betty Ann and Eileen Riordan and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
The Military plans to honor Joe at his Celebration of Life at a later date.
