I first met Joe at Shaw Air Force Base in Sumter , SC in 1953 at the age of 23.
That began a 70-plus year friendship . Carolyn and Joe visited Betty and I in WV around 2002, and my daughter Pam and I visited them in Massachusetts in 2009 for A memorable visit .
I will always be grateful for our friendship and the times we shared as young airmen in South Carolina.
Joe will always be in my thoughts . Thinking of all of you at this sad time. Wishing Gods Comfort and Grace to surround you.
