Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday, March 20, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Vertuccio Smith & Vazza, Beechwood Home for Funerals, 262 Beach St., Revere, for Joseph A. Santosuosso, Sr., who passed away on March 13 at the age of 83. A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Friday, March 21, at 11:00 a.m., followed by entombment in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
Joseph was a native of Revere and attended Everett Technical High School, where he later graduated. He worked for several years at Polaroid and also fulfilled his dream of opening his own company. His business focused on building homes and providing property management services. In the mid-1980s, he moved to Laconia, New Hampshire, where he resided for the remainder of his life.
He is the beloved father of Dean Santosuosso and his late wife, Marie, of Amesbury, and the late Joseph Santosuosso, Jr. He was the cherished grandfather of Sean and Dante and the great-grandfather of Autumn and Dean. He was the former husband of the late Janeen (Murphy) Santosuosso. Joseph is also the dear brother of Nancy E. Collins and her husband, Joseph, and the late Albert C. Santosuosso, Christopher J. Santosuosso, Kathryn A. Santosuosso, and James R. Santosuosso. He is lovingly survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
