Salvatore Amore

Salvatore Amore passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on August 25, at 92 years old. Salvatore was born in Barrafranca, Sicily on July 1, 1933, He was a Tractor Operator in his early years in Sicily. He married Angelina Papalia in 1960 and had two children, Anthony and Rosa. In 1967 he ventured with his family to America, First landing in East Boston then moved to Somerville and Everett. His final move was to Peabody several years ago which he made home. He worked for over 20 years for Conant Controls in Medford, Manufacturer of precision control valves as a Machine Operator. Salvatore's garden and green thumb were impeccable. He loved his children and grandchildren immensely. He was very proud to have been given the opportunity to work hard and live a peaceful and honest life, He stayed true to his motto. "Home Sweet Home" .

He was the son of the late Salvatore and Rosa (Paterno) Amore and was the beloved husband of the late Angelina (Papalia) Amore. Devoted father of Anthony Amore and his wife Natasha of Florida and Rosa Maria DelSonno and her husband Anthony of Peabody. He was the dear brother of Stella Giunta of Revere, Alexander Amore of Revere, Joseph Amore of Florida and the late Tony Amore. Salvatore was the cherished grandfather of Martina (DelSonno) Saba, Mario DelSonno, Anthony DelSonno, Tyler, Dylan and Cody Amore. Great Grandfather of Raena, Sarina, Tiana, Louie and Vienna.

Family and friends are invited to attend Visiting Hours on Thursday August 28th from 10:00 am to 12:00pm (Noon) in the Vertuccio Smith & Vazza Beechwood Home for Funerals 262 Beach St. Revere. His Funeral Service will be conducted in the Funeral Home at 12:00 pm Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Mausoleum, Malden.
