Santa Maria It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our brother, Joseph Robert Schraff, who left this world at the age of 43. Joseph passed away on November 23, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of laughter, charisma, and warmth.
Born on July 31, 1980 to Paul and Joan Schraff, Joseph brought a unique brightness to the lives of those around him. He touched the hearts of many with his infectious laughter and charismatic spirit. Joseph had an uncanny ability to find humor in even the darkest of moments.
A natural storyteller, Joseph had the rare gift of turning mundane moments into unforgettable tales that had everyone in stitches. His witty remarks and playful banter made any gathering memorable. His kindness knew no bounds, and his ability to uplift others made him a cherished friend to many. He will forever be remembered as the funny, charismatic, and joyful soul who brightened our lives in countless ways.
He leaves behind his sister, Cara Costamagna, and brother Paul Schraff Jr., and nieces and nephews whom he adored.
He was preceded in death by his parents Paul and Joan Schraff.
Details for the memorial service are as follows: January 12, 2024, 9:00AM Mass at St Philip The Apostle Church, 7100 Stockdale Hwy, Bakersfield, CA 93309, and reception to follow at the Costamagna Residence.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Good Samaritan Recovery, 607 E Hermosa St, Santa Maria, CA 93454. www.goodsamshelter.net, in Joseph's honor.
