Joseph E. Siekierski
Churchville: Thursday, October 17, 2024 at the age of 98. Pre-deceased by his wife, Sabina; parents, Zygmunt and Mary; sister, Sophia (Bruno) Kukielka; brother, Michael Jastrzebski. He is survived by his nephews, Jason Jastrzebski, Edward (Elizabeth) Kukielka and Carl (Robin) Kukielka; niece Michele (Jastrzebski) Vander Beek; great nieces and great nephews, Kristina (Terrence) Moss, Michael Kukielka (Ellie Petro), Andrea (Joey) Riddle, Megan (Tim) Duffy, Stephanie (Eric) Thorne, Alexandra (Gregory) Rosell, and Gregory Vander Beek; many great great nieces and nephews.
Joseph was an active member of the St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, a Korean Army Veteran and a long time member of the Knights of Columbus. He devoted his life to the Polish American Community and was a strong ambassador for all Polish organizations including the Polish Heritage Society, and the Polonia Civic Center. He is the founding member of the Polish Self Support Association assisting many Polish immigrants in coming to America. Joseph also proudly served as the longtime president of the Polish National Alliance Group 512.
His family will receive friends Thursday, October 24, 4-7pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Highway So.) Friends are invited to meet the family Friday, October 25, 10:00am at St. Stanislaus Church for his Funeral Mass. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Stanislaus Kostka Church.
