Joseph Slaby Obituary
Joe was born April 6, 1959 in Sturgis, SD to parents Raymond T. and Elaine Ruth (Horst) Slaby. He was one of two sons. Joe attended school in South Dakota, graduating from Rapid City High School in 1977.
On April 1, 1989, Joe married Teresa Slaby in McCook. To this union two children were born, John and Danielle.
Joe was employed by the Union Pacific Railroad until an accident prevented him from continuing. He then began working part time for Janssen Kool Honda. Joe enjoyed making homemade candles, local Fish Fry Fridays, shooting guns and competing in archery competitions. He was a member of St. Alban's Episcopal Church in McCook.
Preceding him in death were his parents; and his brother, John Slaby.
Those left to celebrate his life include his children, John Slaby of Lincoln, NE and Danielle Slaby and son, Waylan Blake Slaby of McCook.

Joe and I went to school in Sturgis. Joe always had a smile and was so friendly. Always kind. It was wonderful to see him this summer at the class reunion this past summer . My sympathies to Joe´s family.
