Joseph "Joe" Stockton, 62, of Spartansburg, PA, passed away peacefully in his home on November 12, 2025.
Born in Corry, PA, he grew up in Spartansburg and was a graduate of Corry Area High School in 1980. He went on to serve five years in the United States Air Force where he met and fell in love with his wife of 38 years, Randee, by whom he is survived. They married in 1987 and had three children whom he also is survived by; Kiersten (Gilson) Stockton of Pittsburgh, PA; Anthony (Melissa) Stockton of Meridian, ID; and Shelby (Connor) Stockton of Pittsburgh, PA.
He spent a few years living in North Carolina with Randee and Kiersten where he became a1991 graduate of Cleveland Community College, where he obtained his associate's degree in engineering. The family returned to Spartansburg in 1991, and he became an active member in the community, helping coach little league baseball. He was a robotics engineer at MFG, Bush, and Snap-Tite until he became disabled from a back injury in 2003.
He was an avid lover of his two fur babies Sammie and Zoey "Cat Cat" and could always be found hiding treats for them around the house. He loved the Pittsburgh Pirates, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, coffee, and all things aviation and WWII related.
He is preceded in death by both of his parents, Clifford H. Stockton Sr. and Virginia R. Stockton, and his brother, Clifford H. Stockton Jr.
He is also survived by his brother Tom (Lori) Stockton and Laurie (Roger) Patterson, both of Spartansburg, PA, and many nieces and nephews.
Viewing and visitation will be held at Bracken Funeral Home, 315 N. Center St, Corry, PA 16407, on Tuesday, November 18th, from 4 pm to 7 pm. A funeral will be held at a later date for family.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made either to help with funeral expenses (C/O Bracken Funeral Home) or to a charity of your choice as Joe always wanted to help those in need.
