Joseph Stritch Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Smith Family Funeral & Crematory Services, LLC - Smyrna on Jul. 12, 2024.
Joseph H. Stritch, age 86, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones, July 7, 2024.
He was preceded in death by his son, Stephen Stritch; brother, Robert Stritch; and sister, Dorothy Haug.
Joseph is survived by his son, Jody (Gwen) Stritch; daughter, Nora (Ben) Ledo; three grandchildren, Jaclyn Kay, Jonathan Stritch and Daniel Ledo; five great grandchildren; brother, Byron (Kristine) Stritch; and sister, Donna Ferraiuolo.
A beloved husband, father, and friend, he was born with a heart full of love and a passion for the outdoors. Joseph's life was a testament to the joys of family, friendship, and nature.
Joseph's retirement years were spent in the best way he knew how-playing golf with his cherished friends across the beautiful courses of Pennsylvania and New York. His love for the game was surpassed only by his love for the camaraderie it fostered. The laughter, stories, and bonds formed on those greens will be fondly remembered by all who shared those moments with him.
He leaves behind a legacy of warmth, kindness, and a zest for life that touched everyone he met. His family and friends will forever cherish the memories of his gentle spirit and the joy he brought into their lives.
Joseph's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. As we bid him farewell, we find comfort in knowing that he is at peace with God, likely finding a perfect swing in the great golf course in the sky.
Rest in peace, Dad / Pappa Joe. Your love and light will never be forgotten.
