Joseph Succi Obituary

Joe passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family. Joe was born in Portsmouth, NH to Joseph & Helen. At the age of 12, he and the family moved to Phoenix, AZ. Joe attended New Mexico State University and then began his career as a Professional Land Surveyor, which took him to various Southwestern cities before he ultimately settled in Orange County in 1965. Joe was an avid Dodger fan, enjoyed deep sea fishing and gardening, achieved the recognition of a master duplicate bridge player, participated in Elk Club activities, and cherished taking cruises with his wife, Barbara, visiting Las Vegas, and Country Western dancing. Joe loved his family, enjoyed life and had a wide circle of friends. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Barbara, former wife Lydia, his four daughters, Eileen Ortega (Rob), Eva Succi, Carol Ann Dashiell (John), Melissa Lopez (Henry), eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren, stepson Matthew Kondrath, his brother, Carlo Succi (JoAnn), and sister Carolyn Haynes. We truly miss the patriarch of our family, his smile, laughter, and guidance. Family and friends are invited to the visitation to be held at Saddleback Mortuary, Tustin, Wed., Sept. 13th at 5:00 PM and mass at St. John Neumann, Irvine, Thurs., Sept. 14th at 10:00 AM
