Joe was a truly good and honorable man. I enjoyed having him as a boss and friend during my time in North Reading. Sending my prayers and comforting thoughts to his family.

Some people are born leaders, and Joe was one of them. Whether coaching football, protecting the citizens of Reading, helping to establish North Reading´s public policy (and too many other contributions to enumerate), or organizing and hosting the Class of 64´s five-year reunions, Joe was THE MAN. Though I live in an adjacent town now and didn´t see him regularly, he was always "out there." (e.g.., I avidly followed his area restaurant recommendations!)
To Dianna and Joe´s children/grandchildren: My 52-year-old son died March 28. I know the pain, and I am sending you a big hug and the Blessed Mother´s blessings as you travel on.

North Reading lost one of its very finest. My sincere condolences to Dianna and to Joe's children, grandchildren, and entire family. Rest in peace, Joe.
