Joseph Wayne Weber, age 93 of Burnips, passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2024. 2023.
Wayne graduated from Hudsonville High School. He proudly served his country in the United States Marines Corps. Wayne was a Boy Scout leader for many years. Wayne retired from the ANR Pipeline where he worked for 32 years, and he was member of Burnips United Methodist Church. Wayne enjoyed hunting, trapping and spear fishing. Above all he was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, and he will be deeply missed by his family.
Wayne is survived by his children: Wendy (Kevin) Miller, Wade (Lisa) Weber; grandchildren: Elliott (Jenny) Miller, James Miller, Jena (Nolan) Correll, Brian Weber, and Cody Weber; 10 great-grandchildren; his brother Jim and Linda Weber; his sisters-in-law: Yvonne Goodman, and Marie Alward; as well as many extended family and friends.
Wayne was preceded in death by his wife Winona in April of 2023; his siblings: Myrtle Cole, Erma Schweitzer, and Arnold "Bud" Weber; his sister-in-law and brothers-in-law: Donna Lee Hildebrand, Roger Alward, Perle Goodman and Luther Hildebrand.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at Burnips United Methodist Church, 4211 30th Street, Burnips, MI, 49314. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Monday, July 15, 2024, at Yntema Funeral Home, 251 S. State St. Zeeland. Memorial contributions may be given to Interim Hospice.
