Joseph Woolford Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Cole Family Funeral Home - Ironton on Nov. 21, 2025.
Joseph William Woolford, Jr., of Farmington, MO, entered into rest on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at the age of 56 years, 3 months, and 4 days. He was born August 15, 1969, in Phoenix, AZ, a son of the late Joseph William, Sr. and Thelma Sue (Hasty) Woolford.

Surviving Joseph are a daughter, Kayla Harp of Farmington, MO, a brother, Brian Woolford and wife Ashley of Troy, MO, two sisters, Rhonda Whited and husband Tim of Desloge, MO, and Paula Coleman and husband Bobby of Mineral Point, MO, and many more loving family members and friends.

Joseph was a pool player by trade, he played, and was known all over the United States in the "Pool World". He was one of the top players in St. Louis and was considered a Semi-Pro player; he could beat anyone on the felt. He enjoyed playing with all of the friends he and his brother, Brian, had made in the many years of playing on the circuit and held them close to his heart. Joe was also a very good poker player and could win your money before you even noticed. He was a fun guy that knew how to have a good time, but also knew how to help his fellow man. He would help everyone he knew and put their needs and wants before his own. He was a caring soul who loved all of his family and friends. In his younger years, Joe attended the Ste. Marie du Lac Catholic Church and was a server as a boy.

Joseph William Woolford, Jr., was a loving and caring father, brother, and friend. He will be missed by all who were blessed to know and love him.

No formal services are planned at this time. A family organized Celebration of Life will be held at a later date and will be posted on the website.
