Joseph Yeager Obituary
He served in the U.S. Army starting in 1953. He was a Sergeant stationed in Germany and was honorably discharged in 1956.
He lived in Glenolden for many years with his family and wife of 54 years, Marguerite Yeager, who preceded him in death. He coached Little League baseball and played
softball.
He was an active servant for Our Lady of Fatima Church in Secane, PA, as an usher and volunteer at their events for many years. He always had a passion for baking, especially cookies and pizzelles, and sharing them with everyone. You could always find him playing with his model trains and toys.
He is survived by his son, Joe Yeager (Donna); his daughter, Barbara Bingham (Samuel); three grandchildren, Melissa Parker (Ricky), Andrew Yeager (Lily), and Samantha Bingham; and two great grandchildren, Ricky and Annabell.
A private graveside service will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Cavanagh Patterson Funeral Home, 43 E. Baltimore Ave., Media.
