Rest in Peace Jay.
I will always be thankful and appreciative of your compassion to my children when Larry passed away. You have now joined him; both way too soon.
Vaya con Dios amigo.

Saddened to hear the news of Jay´s passing. Condolences to his family and friends. I remember all the good times with Jay back at Tech. At the Lodge, Road trips for dove hunting, to the Lake in Sweetwater, the Ranch and talking Football. Jay always had a comment , a joke ,a smile and grin, he will be missed.
Rest in peace Jay.

So sorry to hear of Jay´s passing. My condolences to his entire family. Jay was such a central part of my college years. The world is certainly not as fun a place without him in it. He will certainly be missed.

I was in shock and disbelief when I received the news, as we would talk a few times a year, but always picked up where we left off. We met at Texas Tech you were always willing to help any of your friends/brothers in college or while we grew older. A few years ago, you invited my son and I to Sweetwater where he was able to shoot his first deer. To me, the reality of your passing has made me sadly recognize how valuable TIME truly is. We all fall short of the glory of God and I feel or believe you are now with Joe and our Heavenly Father. You and your humor, lively or elaborate stories will be missed.

Jay, we were pledge brothers together, went to deer camp many times, 4th of July at golf trips with the boys at lake Sweetwater, almost falling off the barn at the ranch on many occasions, Danny rolling the station wagon in Lajitas, too many incredible memories to list here. Yes indeed, one of a kind. You will be missed but I know you are in a better place.
