Josephine Bernice "Henry" Bailey

Josephine Bernice Henry-Bailey, age 76, of Jasper, Tennessee, passed away Monday, March 30, 2026. She was born September 19, 1949, in Whitwell, Tennessee. Josephine retired from Moccasin Bend in Chattanooga, where she was dedicated to her work and valued by her colleagues.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Freddy Howard Bailey; parents, Charles and Jossie Mae Henry; siblings, Ellek Henry, Charles Edward Henry, Myrtle Henry, Jerry Henry, Brenda Coffman, Truman Henry, and Leon Henry; and grandson, Matthew Ellis.

Survivors include her son, Terry Lee Slatton of Jasper; sibling, Wilma Jean Price; grandchildren, Trevor Slatton, Tyler Slatton, Angel Davis, Cody Bailey, Halie Bailey, Zack Bailey, and Harley Gann; and great-grandchildren, Kinslee Bailey, Tucker Bailey, Grayson Bailey, Maddie Bailey, Callie Steward, Josie Stewart, and Axel Stewart.

Her family will receive friends, 3PM-8PM, CST, Tuesday, March 31, 2026.

Funeral Service 11AM, CST, Wednesday, April 1, 2026, in the funeral home chapel with Brother David Lewis officiating. Interment at Hooker Cemetery in Wildwood, Georgia.
