Born in Westerly, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Constance Gandolfi.
Josephine worked as a scientist for Pfizer until her retirement in 1992. She was an avid cook and foodie who loved passing on family recipes and techniques, and baking holiday cookies and snacks to send to all family and friends. Josephine also enjoyed gardening and giving away the bounty to all. She was an enthusiastic UCONN basketball fan.
She was kind, generous and philanthropic, helping others and donating to many charities.
Josephine will be dearly missed by all her family and friends.
She is survived by her nephew Steven Gandolfi of Pawcatuck; and other nieces, nephews and cousins. Josephine was predeceased by her brother John Gandolfi, sister Faye (Gandolfi) Turner, and brother Joey Gandolfi who died in infancy.
