Josephine A. Ferraro died peacefully surrounded by her loving children Monday, September 1, 2025, in UPMC Shadyside. Loving wife of the late Louis A. Ferraro, Jr, daughter of the late Elizabeth Graczyk and Anthony Crisanti, sister of the late Vincent Crisanti. Josephine was loved and best friend to her children and grandson, Susan Ferraro (Joe Hagmaier), Louis A. Ferraro III (Janet), Lori Landefeld (Dave) and Louis A. Ferraro IV, who was her pride and joy. She was known to many as Joanne but to her family and closest friends as Jo, JoJo, JoJo Racer, Josie, Maw, Mom, Mommy, and Nuni. She was very active in the Etna Borough community. Friends received Thursday, September 4, 2025, 2:00pm-8:00pm at Slater Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., Sharpsburg. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects and share memories. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, September 5, 2025, at 10:30am in Madonna of Jerusalem Church, Sharpsburg, PA. EVERYBODY PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH.
