Josephine Lanoue, 91, born March 22, 1919, fell asleep December 31, 2010, in Azle, TX, and woke up in heaven in the presence of Jesus. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, George P. Lanoue in 1993, and by her sister Joyce Herrin. Jo is survived by five children: George of Perth, Australia; John & wife Linda of Albuquerque, NM; Sharon Coffey of Tampa, FL; Karen Kendall & husband Roy of Azle, TX; and Timothy & wife Sharon of Bay City, TX. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; sister Gloria Wendt of Dundee, IL; and brother Gerald Ogden & wife Jody of Elgin, IL. Visitation will be at French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas NE, on Wed., January 5th from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m., followed by interment at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. A reception will be held at John and Linda Lanoue's house on January 5th at 5:30 p.m.
