Josephine Nitkowski Obituary
(nee Minarik) Reunited with her beloved husband Edward and her dear son Jim on Saturday October 18, 2025, at the age of 98. Loving mom of Nancy (Wally) Ziaja. Mother in law of Wendy Nitkowski. Proud granny of Shannon (Dave), Justin (Christina), and Katrina (Tyler). Dear great-granny of Katie Lee, Sam, Emma, Harper, and Kinsley. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Preceded in death by her siblings, Tony (Shirley), and Annie (Frank).
A Memorial gathering will be held on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at QUEEN OF APOSTLES CHURCH, N35 W23360 Capitol Dr. Pewaukee, from 11AM-12PM with the Mass of Christian Burial at 12PM.
Jo loved family gatherings and Holiday celebrations. Jo enjoyed painting, crafting, sewing, and quilting. She volunteered at Queen of Apostle making prayer shawls, baby layettes, and quilts for the needy. She was also part of her neighborhood sewing group, Sew and Sews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital are appreciated.
