Josephine Recupero Obituary

Josephine spent her years as a homemaker, raising her family. She enjoyed spending time at the shore, especially at Wildwood and Cape May. She adored her cat Jinx, loved going out with her friends, children, and grandchildren to church, lunch and family gatherings. Josephine truly loved her time spent with her family.
In her earlier years Josephine was a beautician and also worked at Ed Zaberer's Restaurant in Wildwood, NJ where she made numerous life-long friendships. She also enjoyed oil painting landscapes and still life.
Josephine is survived by her two sons, Richard Recupero, and Joseph Recupero and his wife Marialena. Her grandchildren, Scott (Jamie) Recupero, and their children Gene, Dominic, and Anthony; Sara (Fred) Bloss; Joseph (Kristen) Recupero Jr., and their children, Joseph III, Elliana, and Sophia; and Gennavive (Scott) Yashinski, and their children Mia and Jackson. Predeceased by her loving husband Carmen S. Recupero, her brother William DePietro, and sister Catherine Ferris.
Friends and family are invited to a visitation from 9:30am - 10:45am, Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at Church of the Incarnation, 240 Main Street Mantua, NJ 08051. Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 11:00am Wednesday December 4, 2024. Final disposition to be private at a later date at New St. Mary's Mausoleum in Bellmawr, NJ.
