Barbara Ann Davis

Barbara Ann Davis, age 83 of Deptford Twp., formerly of Mantua Township, passed away on Monday, August 18, 2025. Born in Camden to the late George M. Warrington and Mary (nee Laigai), she attended Woodbury High School where she was the homecoming queen in the year of her graduation. Barbara worked in the cafeteria at Underwood-Memorial Hospital in Woodbury and at Columbia Records in Pitman. In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting, knitting, ceramics, swimming, and was a member at the YMCA in Woodbury. She was a member of The Church of Latter-day Saints for 50 years. Barbara loved her family, grandchildren, and family gatherings.

Barbara is survived by her daughter, Sherry Davis of Mantua; three sons, George Davis of South Harrison, Brian Davis & his wife, Amy of Alloway Twp., and Andrew Davis & his wife, Jennifer of Pitman; daughters-in-law, Tracy Davis of Pilesgrove Twp. and Debbie Davis of DE; eleven grandchildren, and many great grandchildren. She is also survived by her former husband of 51 years, George Davis Sr. She was predeceased by her sons, John Davis and Timothy Davis, granddaughter, Aubrie Starr Davis, and her siblings, George, Mary, and Doris.

Relatives and friends may visit from 10:30 am to 11:30 am on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at Smith Funeral Home, 47 Main Street, Mantua, NJ where a funeral service will be held at 11:30 am. Burial will follow in Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro, NJ.
