Frances A. Holmstrom, 83, a lifelong resident of Gloucester County, New Jersey, passed away surrounded by her loving family on August 5, 2025.

Born in Philadelphia, Frances was raised in Woodbury before getting married and raising her family in Woodbury Heights and eventually relocating to West Deptford. After graduating from Woodbury High School, she began working in the Probate Office. She later married Edward Holmstrom and devoted herself to raising their children. Once their children were older, she returned to the workforce as a Medical Secretary for a local physician.

Frances was a devoted wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, and friend. She took great pride in the warm and loving home she created. She enjoyed being active with her high school reunion committee as well as Red Hats and her church women's group, lunching with her cousins and friends, collecting Hummel figurines and was a passionate fan of the Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles. Among her favorite players were Kyle Schwarber, Bryce Harper, and of course, Jason Kelce. Frances will be remembered for her dedication to her family, her strong sense of home, and her spirited love for her hometown teams.

Predeceased by her parents, Albert and Agatha (Tina) Rende, her brothers Albert and Robert Rende, and devoted husband of 34 years, Edward R. Holmstrom; she is survived by her beloved children, Deneen Kellen and husband Dan, and Edward Holmstrom; her brother Thomas Rende and his wife Mary Ann; loving granddaughters, Madelyn and Elizabeth. Frances is also survived by her extended family of cousins, nieces, nephews, and life-long friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 11, 2025, at Infant Jesus Parish at St. Margaret's Church, located at 3rd and Beech St., Woodbury Heights, from 10:00am until 11:30am. Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:30am. Interment will follow in Woodbury Memorial Park, West Deptford, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, in memory of Frances, memorial contributions are requested for The Montrose Center in Houston TX, https://secure.givelively.org/donate/the-montrose-center/in-memory-of-fran-holmstrom, which is of significant importance to her son, Ed.
