Josephine Supinski Obituary
Josephine Marie (Lomeo) Supinski, 94, of S. Abington Twp, died on Saturday, December 7, in Allied Skilled Nursing Facility. She was the widow of the late Frank J. Supinski, Sr.
Born July 23, 1930 in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Viola (Farino) Lomeo.
Josephine, a lifelong resident of S. Abington Twp, graduated in 1948 from Clarks Summit High School and worked for Mid Valley Apparel as a supervisor. She was a parishioner of the Church of St. Gregory, Clarks Green.
Surviving is a son: Frank (Kathryn) J. Supinski Jr. of S. Abington Twp., a brother: Robert (Janet) Lomeo of S. Abington Twp., grandchildren, Ryan Supinski of Union City, NJ, Kyle (Cassie) Supinski of Lehighton; step grandchildren, Mark (Andrea) Szajkowski and Eric (Jennifer) Szajkowski, Kate (Jeff) Sirota and Lori (Nate) Richel; great grandchildren, Luke, Abel, Evan; step great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Samuel A., John and Joseph Lomeo, two sisters, Marie Dominiak, Jean Kosinski, and Daughter-in-law, Stephanie Supinski.
The funeral will be Saturday, January 4 at 10:00 am from Church of St. Gregory, 330 North Abington Road, Clarks Green, with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated. Interment, Cathedral Cemetery, Scranton.
